<p>If logarithms seem like Greek to you, this interactive algebra 2 lesson will help you sort things out. We can use many bases for a logarithm, but the bases most typically used are the bases of the common logarithm and the natural logarithm. The common logarithm has base 10, and is represented on the calculator as log(x). The natural logarithm has base e, a famous irrational number, and is represented on the calculator by ln(x). The natural and common logarithm can be found throughout Algebra and Calculus.</p>

<p>Rational Function Graphs: There are different characteristics to look for when creating rational function graphs. With rational function graphs, we can find a horizontal asymptote where the degree of the numerator function is equal to the degree of denominator function. There are other techniques for drawing rational function graphs when the degree of the numerator is less than, or greater than, that of the denominator.</p>
